The Sisters, Willapark

in Cornwall

The north Cornwall coast in May is ablaze with the yellow flowers of gorse which contrast spectacularly with the signature turquoise seas of the area. These two rocks are known as The Sisters, and they are the breeding ground for large colonies of seabirds such as razorbill and guillemot. The Sisters lie just off the side of Willapark, a headland of towering cliffs attached to the mainland by the narrowest of necks.
